The Client

ZSL (Zoological Society of London) brings conservation across the world to our doors in the form of an educational tourist attraction. Constantly engaging new audiences and raising the profile of the two UK zoos is a huge challenge and events form part of the conservation charity’s marketing.

The Challenge

With such a high impact event name we needed to create a logo and marketing materials to match. We needed to demonstrate the fun of the event and also the cause it raises funds for whilst also attracting a wide audience.

The Project

We were tasked with creating a new brand identity for Roar with Laughter, one of the zoo’s coolest annual fundraisers. Held at the iconic Apollo and supported by big name comedy acts the brand identity needed to be strong and memorable.

The Result

The event name was centre stage and the backdrop of comedy club curtains set the scene for the type of event attendees could expect. We gave a huge nod to the big cats the event supports by using a tiger fur effect in the background of the logo. The event caused the desired stir and was a sell out with acts booked shortly after for a repeat the following year.
